About this product
Which hex light kit do I need?
The kits come in 5, 8 and 11 pieces. Five suits a workbench, home gym or corner of the shed; eight spreads light across a full garage bay; eleven is for a double garage or a full workshop.
How is it powered and connected?
It runs on mains AC power. The supplier lists 110V and 220V versions, and doesn't state the plug or wiring. Send us a message before you order and we'll confirm the version and connection that suit Australian power. If it has to be hardwired, that work must be done by a licensed electrician.
How do I mount it?
To the ceiling with screws or zip ties.
Can I dim it?
No, it isn't dimmable.
What is the light like?
Daylight white at 6500K, with a colour rendering index above Ra 90, so colours look true. Each lamp is 8W at 120 lm/W.
Will it work in a cold shed?
It's rated for -20°C to 45°C. It's made for indoor use only.
