Overview

Soft Shackle and Snatch Recovery Ring Set

This set pairs a synthetic soft shackle with a snatch recovery ring for 4WD recovery and towing. The soft shackle is made from a single piece of UHMWPE rope, a high-density polyethylene fibre with high tensile strength that resists wear, and it has a breaking strength of 38,000 lbs. Because it is a length of rope rather than a metal shackle, it is quick to attach and take off again. With a winch line running around it, the recovery ring works as a pulley. The supplier lists the set for off-road and on-road recovery and towing with 4WDs, cars and ATVs.
